ELRIM HOME

ELRIM is a research and education institute that increases the understanding about Islam and Christianity in the Middle Eastern and European context.

ELRIM supports researching, organizes and facilitates training seminars and events; and produces, translates, publishes and distributes literary and audio-visual products.

Research institute to Istanbul

ELRIM focuses on research activites especially in the Asian Minor and Middle East. In 2012 ELRIM opens a research institute to Istanbul in the co-operation with Hristoforos foundation.

The institute situates in the Asian side of Istanbul close to the Marmara University's Faculty of Theology and Turkish Religious Fundation's (Diyanet) Islam research center (ISAM).

Opportunities for students

ELRIM supports Islam-related small-scale studies as well, that take place in Turkey and Germany, through the exchange studies, international training periods and study tours.

Through its networks and co-operative partners ELRIM helps to create opportunities to study Christianity in the contexts of Finland, Turkey and Germany.
