Core values
ELRIM is an Evangelical Lutheran research institute. ‘Evangelical Lutheran’ denotes the Christian faith, which is based on the Holy Bible. This faith has been described in the three ecumenical Creeds and in the Lutheran Confessions.
In a process of scientific research, the beliefs and core assumptions of the research worker have an effect on the process and its results. This is why ELRIM wants to acknowledge its core values openly.
History of ELRIM
ELRIM was founded in 2001 in Mannheim, Germany, as Evangelisch-Lutherisches Religionsinstitut Mannheim. In the early years, ELRIM operated mainly within the German context. In recent years has seen how connections between Turkey and Finland have become stronger.
Organization and funding
ELRIM is a non-profit independent research institute. Its activity is based on the support of its partners and on a wide network of specialists. |
